Christmas 2015
Christmas is one of my most favorite times of the year! I just love to watch the girl's faces light up with excitement! It started the same way it does every year, with Landry and I begging Brady to put up the tree BEFORE Thanksgiving. He usually will cave the week of, but Landry and I couldn't stand the wait and we put the tree up the week before one day while Brady was at work.
One day, an American Girl Doll catalog came in the mail. MY NIGHTMARE!!!! I HATE those things! Of course, that became request #1 for Landry. Little did she know, Brady and I had already taken care of her christmas surprise. Disneyland! All I wanted to do half the time was scream "Were going to Disneyland!" I was so excited.
We did all the regular stuff, we went to see the lights, went to ugly christmas sweater parties and spent every night trying to figure out to do with the damn elf!
Landry loves Star Wars and has watched every episode, so she was super excited to go see Epsiode 7 on Christmas Eve. When we woke up that morning she said "Mom, Im so excited!" I said "Why? Because Santa is coming?" She said "No! Were going to see Star Wars!!"
Christmas morning was great! Brady and I always wake up super early because we get so excited! Landry and Emmi finally woke up at 6! Landry came in and was so worried that her elf dust (you have to watch Prep and Landing) had worn off and she aaas waking up too early and Santa would be mad. I told her it was ok and it wasn't too early and she said "good, because there is some pretty bog stuff out there!"
She was so excited to find out she was going to Disneyland, and to see her AGD. But of course, the highlight was a case of chap stick. Luckily, that didn't last long. We had a great year!
