Learning to talk with Kitty Mow Mow
Landry’s vocabulary has
grown immensely over the last month. She can tell you that she likes football
and that she wants Mac
Cheese! She can talk in 3 to 4 word sentences. She tells you when she wants to
play, go potty, swing, eat, or anything else she might want!
She has a funny
little language of her own. She calls drinks nokes, popsicles are sookies,
oranges are erngiges and almost all of
her words end in ie. Like Elmo is elmie. She says the funniest things!
She has
practiced her vocabulary on “Kitty Mow Mow,” a cat that lives in our
neighborhood. She goes outside and yells for him, and says “comere” (come here) and when he comes she lays by him
and tells him tons of stories. Then she tells him “Mon Kitty Mow Mow, mon”
(come on) to try to get him to come in the house, which he wants no part of :) She has been known to tell the dogs to “sut
up!” when they bark at Kitty Mow Mow.
