Friday Harbor

2 weeks ago we went to Friday Harbor in the San Juan Island to our friends wedding. Cody and Maile’s wedding was beautiful. Brady was a groomsman and he looked so handsome! His wedding attire was sweet!

 

While we were there, Brady had a lot of wedding stuff going on, I went to most of it with him so we didn’t have much time for sight seeing, but Friday, the guys went golfing so I was able to sneak off and see some things.

This was colored onto the sidewalk in front of our condo, and Joey wanted a picture of it so bad!

I went with Bray’s friend Travis and his wife Mandy to a Whale Park (its not really a park, just a stretch of cliffs next to the ocean where salmon come in so the Orcas follow) to look for whales. It was pretty but we didn’t see any orcas. The people there said that the orcas had been in the area every day for the last few weeks. We didn’t see any but we did see a porpoise whale, just the fin, he didn’t jump out of the water or anything. Then we went to a lavender farm, it was cool, not overly exciting but it was cool to see the different kinds of lavender.

We had a lot of fun, it would be fun to go there and spend 5 days, or even to go on a girls trip there, but all the traveling it takes to get there, 3 days just isn’t long enough. It is a really pretty place though.
